  • The Knapp’s Ministry Update February 2010

    Dear Friends & Family,
We have some good news to report.  We have reached 100% of our one-time financial goal.  We have one goal left and that is the $2,600 monthly support.  We are currently at 39% of our monthly goal.  Right now we have 10 churches that we are in the processes of contacting to see if they would be interested in supporting us.
We just found out today that the church in Peine, Germany may have 2 Let’s Start Talking[...]

  • German Life Series: Open The Window

Last week I talk about how Germans like their windows closed.  This week I am going to talk about how they like to open them.  So this begs the question, are they contradicting each other?  Not at all.
    Why Do They Open Windows
When I was in Germany Amanda and I had to open our windows each morning to air out the house.
    What I Do Know

Open windows to prevent mold on walls.

    What I Don’t Know

What happens if it is raining for 5[...]

  • The New Look of Mosaic Mercy

Welcome to the new look of Mosaic Mercy.  Yesterday I decided to switch themes.  I think that this theme is easier on the eyes than the last one.  Even though it looks kind of girly I like the stitch design.  The sidebar has some nice features also such as a place for my not so frequent Twitter updates and a place to put my most recent videos.  I have added a Flickr widget that rotates between 3 different photos each[...]

  • Is Intense Debate Worth It?

I am having problems with the size of Intense Debate.  It over flows in places it shouldn’t.  They give us CSS Style Sheet tips for this problem but I know very little about it.  I will try to fix this when I have time.
Does anybody know of a custom CSS Style Sheet that is available for use with Intense Debate?
Also my computer is making a ping pong noise so I Googled this.  Somebody said this indicates that my hard drive[...]

  • German Life Series: Close The Window

Germans don’t like the window open.  Supposedly the breeze that comes through the window will more than likely make them sick or worse but we won’t talk about that.

Close the window on a moving train.
Keep the window closed in your stationary home.

    What I Don’t Know

If I need to keep my automobile window closed while driving.
