We will be leaving from the Tulsa International Airport on May 2, 2010 and will arrive in Hannover, Germany on May 3rd.  We don’t have enough monthly support so we are stepping out trusting that God will take care of us through unknown, or not yet seen supporters.  If you would like to help us pay our bills you can find out more on our partner with us page.  Also if you have any questions feel free to point those[...]

Dear Friends & Family,
We have some good news to report.  We have reached 100% of our one-time financial goal.  We have one goal left and that is the $2,600 monthly support.  We are currently at 39% of our monthly goal.  Right now we have 10 churches that we are in the processes of contacting to see if they would be interested in supporting us.
We just found out today that the church in Peine, Germany may have 2 Let’s Start Talking[...]

Mosaic Mercy is the ministry/life site of David and Amanda Knapp.  I like the fact that I have this blog so I can inform all of our friends and family of our ministry and life in Peine, Germany.  The reason I haven’t blogged anything in a while is because of 2 reasons.
1. We are not actually in Peine, Germany.  Why is this?  This is because we lack sufficient funds to go.  We are currently $1,100 shy of our monthly goal. [...]

On January 1 we drove from Joplin, Missouri to Iola, Kansas. The drive was nice and the roads were clear. On January 2 it started to snow, which it continued to do for the rest of the night. The next day we drove slowly to Fellowship Regional Church so we could present our plans to go back to Peine, Germany. We met with several friendly people after the service. Most disliked the mineral water but[...]

Here is our new prayer card that we will be sending out to around 185 people.  If you don’t think you are on the list of the 185 then go to the contact form and feel free to request one.  Leave me your address on the SECURE Contact Form and I will be happy to send you one.  Seriously I am not kidding.  Don’t be shy about requesting.

What Is Our Ministry
Before I get into how you can support us please allow me to tell you what it is we are going to be doing. We are moving to Peine, Germany to host Let’s Start Talking Ministry Teams (LST). These teams will be helping people improve in their English by using a reader friendly version of the book of Luke. While the teams are in Peine we will get to know their readers. Once[...]

How To Survive Mission Trips
1. Pray
I use to think money was the most important goal of support raising for mission trips but now realize that prayer is way more important.  Why is this?  One reason is because God is our provider.  He gives people the ability to support us financially.  We should ask Him through prayer to take care of our needs.
Beyond finances prayer is important because it is communication to our Father.  One minute you are on top of[...]
