Loving Gott | Serving Menschen | Building Familie

On January 1 we drove from Joplin, Missouri to Iola, Kansas. The drive was nice and the roads were clear. On January 2 it started to snow, which it continued to do for the rest of the night. The next day we drove slowly to Fellowship Regional Church so we could present our plans to go back to Peine, Germany. We met with several friendly people after the service. Most disliked the mineral water but most enjoyed the Ritter Chocolate.

At 3pm we decided to head home from Amanda’s parents. The roads were horrible. We saw 5 cars in the ditch and I (David) personally saw the car in front of me do a 360 into the other lane before coming to a stop on the shoulder. I slowed down my rate of speed from 50 mph to about 35 mph. I prayed heavily throughout the whole trip back home.

Other than the scary winter weather story our experience was great at Fellowship Regional Church. Thanks to Pastor Jeff Cokely and the FRC family for having us. Thank you Grandma Roush for taking pictures. :)
